Tightness area above lumbar and below mid back
Post Body

Hi everyone, I had been suffering from lower back pain from what was apparently caused, according to my MRI, a couple bulging discs in my L4 L5 and S1. I haven't felt any familiar pain like that since May and have been just resting without working out. I've been trying to be careful with not hunching over and using my back wrong in any kind of way. However, I have been noticing in the area above my lumbar and below my mid back there seems to be an odd tightness. I only feel it in specific positions such as bending my knee towards my chest while lying down. I also noticed that when I try to do pull ups, my back gets a lot of pressure, maybe from the force of trying to go up or my body weight being too heavy. One of my theories is that since I have been avoiding awkward bending positions, that my lower back muscles etc. have become very weak? Is this a sign that I still have a bulging disc affecting me somehow? Any kind of information would be useful. Has anyone ever experienced this?
