Degenerative Disc Disease, arthritis and lifting
Post Body

So I tweaked my back a couple of months ago and laid off lifting. I was running madcow. Went to the doc to get it checked out and make sure it wasn't anything serious. MRI shows some arthritic changes. I'm a 30 year old male. I really like strength training, but my main focus has been losing weight. After that I'd like to focus on power lifting. Is that all out of the question now? I don't have any compressed nerves or discs bulging and for the most part I'm not in that much pain.

Anyone else deal with this? They said this was pretty normal for someone my age, but I don't know. I've been lifting for the last couple of years.
