I have been working out pretty consistently for the past 5 years. I really hit plateau on the first picture. I tried to get leaner by CICO. I went from 1900 calories to 1200 , no avail. Until I discovered carnivore/keto hybrid diet. It happened naturally. I started to cut carbs slowly in April of 2024 , slowly omitting all carbs. By July I lost around 15lb of fat and completely re-comp’ed my body. I am no longer dieting and I gained the weight back in the ‘right’ places. I still prioritise protein in every meal and avoid refined carbs. My gym frequency hasn’t changed. I go 3-4 times per week and I walk 3-4 times per week around 3 miles . I do more calisthenics . Pike pushups, standard pushups and LOTS of dead-hang variations. I do NOT lift heavy. But I maintain very slow reps with peak holding times up to 5 seconds. In the future, I would like to switch to calisthenics and yoga as my main workout routine with some weights in between.
