Hey all, first post here and had a question about sleeping habits.
To start off ,I'm 34 and I've been working out relatively consistently for the past 12 years. In the past month I've up my training regime, trying to get to a higher bench and squat - I train for about 1.5 hour a day 4 to 5 days a week, and have noticed my sleep has lessened a bit. I go to bed around 9 or 930p and wake up around 4ish usually. When I wake up I don't feel tired I actually feel very motivated and can't wait to hit the gym. I generally feel very good, and don't feel tired while working out. Id love to go to bed at 8pm but thats not really achievable because my wife likes to stay up and read and play on facebook.
With that said I'm concerned that I'm missing on muscle gains by missing out on an hour or two of extra sleep... is it worth it to try and force myself back to sleep? Should I take a melatonin mid sleep to help keep me down for a bit longer?
