So our granddaughter (14) has been showing a great interest in going to the gym and working out with us over the past few months. She is 5-7, with very good tone already, but we know there is A LOT more she can be doing.
Today she asked about what it would take to compete in one of the junior bikini competitions, as two of the females we workout with compete. I know it will take a good deal of discipline on her part with her eating, and I know she is capable of the workouts 5-6 days a week as she does 4 with us now.
Question is at her age what are the risks later in life? She is a bit outgoing already but know this would really help her self confidence as well. From what I saw she is unable to compete until she is 16, so that gives us almost 2 years to get her ready.
