Breaking a fast

I've been dabbling with fasting since 2018 and every time I break my fast, I get this sudden urge to run to the restroom. I must get up and run to the nearest toilet and explode or try to hold it and clench as tight as I can LOL.

Anyway, I was recently doing 3 day fasts and wasn't having this issue upon re-feed...even if I broke my fast with a KFC chicken sandwich or some Boiling Crab or even a Starbucks frappe.

I just started doing ADF and today I broke my fast with some homemade chicken/veggie broth. It was broth only and about 10 minutes later, I had 2 pieces of soft carrot. I chewed thoroughly and almost immediately after the second carrot I had to run to the restroom.

I ate what I thought was sensible enough to break a fast but it backfired (pun intended). I'm a bit confused as to why my body freaked out this time and not the other times when I broke my fast with junk. How can I prevent this from happening when I break my next fast?
