Just wanted to share this journey with you all. Even though I used to feel a bit down seeing myself in the mirror after workouts, I pushed through because I wanted to see progress, like having a receipt for comparison, right? Calorie deficit and mindful eating made a difference, along with staying active with long walks and weight training (nothing more than 50 lbs haha i was naive and careful before but this month I’m starting to challenge myself). Last month, I started incorporating fasting, which really changed everything. And at the beginning of July, I took up tennis. I know consistency is key to achieving my desired build, but I’m genuinely happy because I thought nothing was happening. People around me used to say I wasn’t losing weight, but just today, my sibling noticed the difference and said the ‘sausage’ is gone from my body ☠️. My weight has fluctuated over the years, but last year was tough as I hit rock bottom while adjusting to work stress. During COVID lockdown, I did some fasting but eventually let go of it. Silly of me to forget about it. Sometimes I wish I have done that months ago and I would have been on my goal weight/body by now.
I’ve stopped relying on the scale too much because it drives me crazy! A few weeks ago, it said I was 68.8 kg. I’m pushing harder because my birthday’s on August 28th, and I want to feel good inside and out. I’m 23, 5’3”, aiming for around 57-60 kg. Here’s to progress and feeling good about it! 💪😊
