Most clickbait title I ever typed.
I’ve fasted and done OMAD on and off for years and always was confused by the frequency of folks experiencing bowel issues. If anything I was closer to constipated.
Fast forward to me ending my 7 day fast today. I’m experienced and have never needed to break my fast in any special method. Usually low carb veggies to be healthy, then fat and protein. But I’m not strict and do something different every time.
Today I broke my fast with a pickle with a cup of unsweetened almond milk and 20 minutes later I knew something was very very wrong. I’ve been in the bathroom off and on for 2 hours. Good thing my phone was charged.
Overall it was strangely a relief because I don’t think I go often enough or regularly, which sounds insane to type.
I’m very curious what was different this time. The only variable was much heavier exercise than normal on days 1-3. I get much lower energy day 4 onward and only do slow walks.
Live and learn. It can happen to anyone.
