Completed my first 90 hour fast. Feeling like I need to fast tomorrow to recover from the refeed 😂

Post Body

Started fasting Saturday after dinner and broke my fast today (Wednesday) lunch. Had cottage cheese, a salad with Parmesan, Caesar dressing, edamame, cranberries, and cashews, and a baked chicken thigh and drumstick. Felt really good, and no running to the bathroom like I was expecting. Then I ate dinner… (don’t roast me please). I had a bowl of chili with cheddar cheese and Greek yogurt, and a bunch of crackers with peanut butter. Plus two dark chocolate squares to round out the day.

Quick math tells me I ate around 2,800 calories. Still haven’t been to the bathroom (it’s Wednesday night) and I’m feeling pretty bloated. Lots of rumbling around down there. I’m wondering if I should jump back into a 24 hour fast tomorrow to give my body time to digest all this damn food I just stuck in it 😂

I probably wouldn’t do a 90 hour fast again, I just wanted to see if I could beat my previous record of 69 hours. Typically I do two 48 hour fasts a week and OMAD the rest of the week. I have lost 26 lbs since January following this loose structure (5’3 F 33 SW 173 CW 147 GW 140) and I’m pretty happy with how it’s going!

I know y’all about to jump on here and give me a hard time with the chili decision. I’m a grownup and I made my choice 😂

Seriously though, I love this sub and all the knowledge I’ve gained from everyone’s experiences. Happy fasting!
