Post Body

Iโ€™ve started rolling 48โ€™s after being inspired by a posters weight loss progression; itโ€™s what I want to achieve as well. CW 140kg, GW92kg. Iโ€™m 6โ€™ 4โ€, turning 58 and was quite muscular from sports. Still broad shouldered, but the last dozen years were stressful and I coped through drinking rum and coke and binging on sweets which led to hypertension. My goals are to lose weight, get off blood pressure medication and cure my very mild sleep apnea. I have also got out of my stressful corporate job and am starting a bus driving apprenticeship, which I am excited about, so Iโ€™m motivated and able to get into a new routine to keep me on track.

My question is if I keep up my electrolytes (snake juice with magnesium tablets) how, or when do I quit my hypertension medication? Iโ€™m taking my blood pressure readings three times a day to monitor myself because the last thing I want is lightheadedness driving. Do I taper as I lose weight or just go cold turkey when I see my bp starts dropping from my monitoring?
