Vomiting during prolonged water fast?

Every time I try it (I usually aim for 3-5 days) I start to vomit on the night of the second day and continue throughout my fast. I do break it when it begins, but at the first time I went along with it to see if it is just a one time thing or does it stay. I have electrolyte pills and just plain water, why can it be?
