I finished all my antibiotics, and I feel a new kind of terrible -- AN UPDATE.
Post Body

A few days ago, I posted this. Long story short is that I got bronchitis for the zillionth time, and still felt like garbage despite bombarding it with prescription meds.

I ultimately ended up in the ER, because I couldn't even talk without getting out of breath. After a bunch of tests, they determined that I still have bronchitis, and now I have a UTI on top of that. WTF?

I get that antibiotics can mess with your good bacteria, but I've been on antibiotics dozens of times before, and never had this happen. During my second attempt at treating h. Pylori, I was on 3 different strong antibiotics and an acid blocker around the clock for 2 weeks, and I still didn't experience this. Granted, the h. pylori symptoms returned as soon as the treatment was over, but there was no upset stomach during the treatment, and it wasn't this thing where I stayed symptomatic throughout the whole treatment.

Maybe I'm just rambling, but how the hell can I take three different prescription medications for bronchitis, only to then end up with bronchitis and a UTI? Something's not right.

I went home with a week's worth of Bactrim. I am going to take my second dose, and so far, no change. I can sit up a little more today, but I think that's only because the ER pumped me full of fluids and IV antibiotics.

Ugh. This has now been going on for over a month. I am beyond frustrated.
