There's been a new development in my EDS symptoms (or is it an EDS thing?) and I'm not sure what's going on. I can only describe it as "ice pick pains." Every few minutes, I feel this sudden, sharp, stab of pain sort of where my temple is, but higher. It's only on my right side, and it's significantly painful for a few seconds, then it's gone. Nothing really helps it except pressing on the area. Nothing seems to cause it, either. I'm fully hydrated/salted, and it happens even when I'm laying down *OR* standing. This has been persisting for about 2 to 3 days now.
I honestly thought this was an another ear infection. But now I'm not so sure. Sometimes the pain kind of travels to the TMJ joint, or I'll feel it deep in my right ear, hence the infection theory. I don't have pain in the nape of my neck or anywhere else other than what I've described.
Maybe it *is* just an old-fashioned ear infection. Maybe I just have a spoon deficit. Maybe I'm just sleep-deprived. I don't know, though.
Anyone else experience this?
