Father has difficulty walking and he is moving in with me for a while but I'm looking to move.
Post Body

My father is 60 and has undiagnosed EDS. I have been diagnosed with classical type so I gather he's has the same. He is due to move in with me for a while due to unforseen circumstances and his mobility is bad. He finds it hard to walk and definately has trouble climbing stairs. I need to move before he moves in has I only currently have a one bedroom flat. I keep seeing upper first floor flats available but I'm put off with my father's lack of mobility and his trouble climbing stairs.

Am I doing the right thing waiting for a ground floor flat? I've not seen him for over a year and his mobility was bad then so I can only assume it's worse.
