Hi everyone, after this disease got progressively worse I ended up having to leave the sport I love (figure skating) and learning how to walk correctly again. I was able to get back on the ice two weeks ago, and I have the muscle memory but my ankles have absolutely given out. Being able to manipulate which edge you spin on/jump on in skating is very important for skating, so I need to try and harness that again. My ankles are probably one of the most elastic parts of my body, even after I build up muscle mass, so any tips would be helpful to strengthen them. I havenโt tried bracing them and skating yet, which I might have to resort to (although the extra weight might throw off my balance)
