How do you distract yourself from focusing on time/mileage?

I know most people love to listen to music, but I get distracted and bored of my own playlists really quickly.
Next week I’ll have to jog two miles straight (week 5), and I’m a little nervous that I’ll be too distracted by “how much longer I have till I finish” and will sabotage my own goal.
Anyone have any tips on changing mindset around time/distance while running long distances? Basically, how do I stop staring at the clock & meter?!
