Would it be okay to wet the cactus body when watering? The reason I want to do this is because I had sprinkled some diatomaceous earth on my cacti for a mealybug problem. The problem is gone but I have flecks of DE on the body of the plant. Should I wash it off? I don't want to mess up the areolas.
