I do the warmup stretches before I do the Recommended Routine, but I need a better morning/wakeup routine in general. I've been looking to actually have a consistent morning routine -- I have fairly severe ADHD and I need to create a simple morning routine to try and get past some problems that it's causing. I want to add some kind of stretching into my morning routine, but something simple, that will get me a little more active and calm me down a little in the morning. I was looking in the Wiki but couldn't find a simple/quick stretch routine (maybe I just didn't look hard enough! Sorry) -- does anyone have some simple stretches I can do each morning to wake up a little?
The only thing I really need to consider is that I'd really like to improve my posture. I have a big case of dowager's hump right now and I want to improve my posture in general, both for exercise reasons and not. So I'd like some stretches to target that too. But otherwise, I'm just looking for a stretch to wake up a bit.
(One thing to note: I thought about going for a walk each morning, but I live in Canada, so going for a quick walk each morning sometimes isn't possible without winter gear, and I want to create as simple a routine as possible!)
