Hello all! Excited to find the recommended routine / this group. I am late 40s and have about 20 pounds to shift and also want to tone up. I have lots of gym/weights experience in the past but I am a couple of years out of practice. Also, serious bodyweight exercises are new for me - and so far a really interesting challenge. I can really feel myself getting tighter (in a good way!).
It would be much more practical for me to work out six days a week for 45 minutes or so than do three longer sessions. I have to cycle two miles to an outdoor gym for pull ups, dips and rows, which adds to the time.
I would like to do the following (three times each per week): Day one (at home): Warm-up, bodyline, skills (headstand), L-sit and squats. Day two (at outdoor gym): Pullups, dips and rows.
So two questions: 1) Can I do my push-ups on day one (at home)? I feel a bit self-conscious about doing them (and other exercises) outdoors at the moment, though I know I will get past that after a few weeks / when I feel a bit more confident.
2) Will my cycling to the outdoor gym plus some shoulder warm-up be sufficient as a warm-up on day two? Or do I need to do a full warm-up?
Any help is really appreciated!
