Bodyweight Excercises and Resting Heart Rate
Post Body
I got a fitbit for Christmas and was shocked at how low my heart rate was. Consistently in 50's when resting and 40 when lying down!
I read this is common in athletes but all I did when working out were push ups, pull ups, and dips etc 3x a week. Granted I could bang out around 70 push ups with perfect form and do 30 pull ups in one set. But no cardio work so to speak. I'd be out of breath but still.
Would this cause a lower RHR in your expirience of doing bodyweight workouts?
