Ab training with Anterior Pelvic Tilt
Post Body

I've got really bad APT and while im doing stretches to try and correct it, strengthening your abs is something that also helps correct it.

The most annoying thing is that most ab exersizes are really hard to do when you've got APT. I know youre meant to hold a neutral if not posterior tilt when preforming these exersizes, crunches and even harder is hanging or lying leg raises. With an already weak abdomen and really bad APT it's literally impossible for me to hold a posterior tilt when doing these exersizes, rendering them painful and not useful, and actually making my APT worse because I end up working my hip flexors instead of my abs.

The only thing I can do is a plank. Will this suffice in strengthening my abs until my APT goes away? Is there anything else I can do? I really want to be able to do leg raises as I feel it will help reduce the apt but its so frustrating when my spine keeps curving in

edit: when i say these exersizes are hard to do i mean hard to do with good form. i used to do sets of 30 crunches a night until i realised i was probably worsening my apt by using my hip flexors. im so frustrated
