Been doing muscle ups since October. Started with a lot a lot of kipping and swinging. Now I have it down to a a very nice strict form with no kipping at all. I max out at 5 in strict form before I need to use my knees again for the boost. Iโve just started to do it in the strictest form within 2 weeks time but my form matured greatly. Realized the only way to really use the bars is with your bare hands and man with it come some brutal callous all over your palms even with powder lol. I do these daily. I barely take days off. I can do 7-10 sets of 3-6 reps at a time daily. I rest 2-4 minutes in between sets. I used to feel pain and soreness but since I changed my technique Iโve been pain free for about a a month and a half. I feel great im 40. How do I get my reps up? Is it because im not using a complete false grip? My knuckles point into the sky but my wrist is barely on the bar. I have no wrist pain from the transition of pull up to dip. I rotate my wrists pretty quick a firm. Do I need to run more and tighten my core? Iโm strong and have stamina but I donโt run. Any tips would be great ๐ช๐ผ๐ช๐ผ Side note I max out at over 10-15 if Iโm trying to impress but I start kipping a bit after 5-6
