Splitting RR
Post Body

Hello,

I see no one uses the BWF discussion thread so I have to ask this painfully simple question so I apologize.

I've been doing calisthenics for roughly 4 months mostly with rings at a local park however I'm starting to hit the wall with my legs in the RR. I could go pistol squats and try to get those but honestly I'm not so concerned with those so I bought a barbell and some dumbbells. I'm a cyclist and runner too so I was quickly able to get to the max recommended reps per set for each.

Should I split the RR so I do legs another day? Should I just ran back home and complete the leg portions separately? Should I expand my leg work outs past just squats and hinges if I split it?

Also if I do that, now I won't have the pull up/hinge and dip/squat supersets. Would I just do pull ups wait 3-5 minutes and then pull ups again till I finish the 3 sets?

I apologize again for a probably often asked question. I would not be asking it if the park wasn't a 10 minute walk from my house and I don't want to also carry dumbbells with me.
