Okay so I’m actually really loving wandering through second series and the backbends are heavenly, very therapeutic, but ekapada and dwipada are killing me.
I’ve strangely made progress with yoganidrasana, but after ekapada and dwipada shirshasana my low back is always extremely tender, sometimes I have to rest in child’s pose for a bit before the vinyasa.
Could it be that my lower back is compensating for limited external hip rotation? I don’t feel any hip or joint pain, just the low back because it’s still very rounded in these postures...maybe it’s being lengthened too much after all the previous contraction?
