I am working on my capstone this semester and my group had decided to try and create an automated response system to upkeep aquaponics systems while keeping the user alerted to the changes being made. Our goal is to then package it into a system that is easy to buy, set up, and assemble for different growing locations.
That being said, gotta do some research. So I would like to know if it is something current aquaponics users think is really necessary, and if so what things need the most adjustments and monitoring or would be the most useful thing to have automated to reduce the workload on the grower.
I would also be happy to hear any opinion on the matter, in the general. Thank you for reading, and feel free to PM, chat, or comment with input. We are all new to the hobby and any experienced advice is good advice.
