I’ve been good friends with this woman who I consider my best friend for about 4 years now. She’s smart, strong, beautiful, and all around a wonderful person. Her husband however is a narcissistic abuser. You could get a check list of everything abusive S/O do to their spouse and he meets every single mark. I moved in with them in March and for a while it seemed like things were finally getting better. Since this Saturday he’s been screaming at her to the top of his lungs for the smallest things. She’s been trying to avoid her but he keeps actively seeking her out to harass her. The usual following her around, blowing up her phone. Etc. over the past 4 years I’ve been as supportive as I can but you can just tell people to leave someone abusive like that and except them too. She’s been with him got 10 years and they have a kid together. The screaming keeps triggering me for more personal reasons. I just wanna make it stop. How can I get this man in his place or get him the fuck away? I’m so fed up at this point. I just can’t deal with his manipulative bullshit anymore. I’m not gonna just abandon my best friend either. The last thing she needs is to be isolated even more. What the hell do I do?
