I say "no" to guys so quickly now . . .
Post Body

. . . And honestly, it feels really good and healing!

Today, I cut things off with someone because I asked him to get tested before we slept together and he pushed back in a "this is so unnecessary but I guess so" kind of way. And it felt so good to be able to recognize that as disrespectful of my boundaries and just walk away. I still sometimes get scared and jittery when I say no to people, but after a relationship where eventually I let almost every boundary and limit get pushed, ridiculed, or violated, this feels so good. Like I'm sticking up for and respecting me first now!
