Would it be wrong to tell our mutual friends that their friend abused me?
Post Body

I was emotionally abused by a (former) friend. As far as I know, a lot of our mutual friends think that it was just a falling out or a blowout fight that caused the friendship to end, as opposed to months/years of abuse. As such, many of them have had a stance of 'not getting involved' and viewing it as the two of us sharing equal blame.

Is it wrong to tell our friends the truth? I can't tell whether it would be dramatic or inconsiderate to tell them I was abused by our friend. I don't know what's the right thing to do here.
