The shield hits the winter soldier right in the back of his head, knocking him out.
How does this change affect Winter Soldier and the rest of the MCU?
I reviewed the footage, it appears if he hadn't reacted to the shield coming his way it would have deflected off the back of his metal arm but I will respect that the OP he has described a specific scenario so the responses here still stand.
