Congestive heart failure

Hello, I'm seeking any advice or help from anyone here. My father was diagnosed with congestive heart failure sometime ago. Anyway, he currently has edema and really bad brain fog/lethargy. Is there anything that he can take for brain fog/lethargy that will not affect his heart or negatively impact his edema? I'm just trying to help him out as best I can.
