MSM likely culprit of anxiety

Post Body

I started taking MSM daily about for the past week. I haven't settled on the time of day, but I've mostly taken it in the evening so far (I understand that's not ideal, and that being said, I took it in the daytime some days). Anyways, I guess it had to build up in my system first because my night time anxiety/panic attacks didn't start until last night. Even when I managed to fall asleep I had raging terrifying fever dreams. Right now it's almost 3am, I couldn't sleep because of anxiety and feeling like my heart would pop out my chest.

I have NO anxiety issues normally. I'm somewhat of a late owl but never any problems falling asleep when I'm ready. The last time something like this happened to me, I was on buspirone and once I stopped, the anxiety was gone. So I had to think of what I've done differently the past few days to cause anxiety this time, and I'm thinking it's the MSM. I've only seen a couple of other sources saying this can cause anxiety, but because it's so new on the market, I can't find actual science to back that up. So, if anyone else had a similar experience or is thinking of taking MSM, well please share or heed warning. I will not take MSM any more for the time being and update in a couple days if my sleeping is normal again.
