NAC side effects?

Post Body

I've been taking Thorne NAC 500mg for about 10 days for the purpose of improving my liver markers as my ALT is pretty elevated and doubled over the last year or so

I did get an ultrasound sound about 5yrs ago that said I had the onset of NAFLD

Currently experiencing loose bowel movements that seem yellow in colour and might have mucus in it. Is this normal or something to be concerned about?

I did research it and NAC can have a positive affect on the intestines to a degree and I assume my liver is producing more bile from talking NAC causing the yellowing?
