Why is L-Citruline difficult to find?

I understand L-Citruline is much better than L-Arginine. I'm trying to buy the best quality, yet it seems like Thorne, Life Extension or Solgar only sell L-Arginine.
Why none of them make L-Citruline? Is it better to get L-Citruline instead of L-Arginine? Which brand do you get for yourselves? Based in UK.
