Hello! I'm a 22 year old guy, and I'm trying to develop and improve myself. I have pretty severe anxiety and mild-moderate depression. One of the major issues I'm trying to address is related to sleep. I'm trying to get onto a better schedule, as recommended by my therapist, and part of that is looking at my meds to see if they effect my sleep.
I've lowered my antidepressant a small amount, in the hopes of reducing tiredness, and have a CPAP machine I use daily, but today I realized I've been taking Biotin for like 4 months, but I don't really know what it does.
I take it for hairloss, though I'm unsure it actually does anything for this. I looked it up, and some people said it can cause dizziness, drowsiness, and excess thirst, I guess because of hypoglycemia. So now I'm wondering if maybe I should stop taking this Biotin, and see if it reduces any tiredness. I do also have difficulty staying hydrated, but I think my antidepressants are a part of that issue. I doubt think I have any unusual dizziness, aside from maybe an occasional head-rush. It's also important to note that I'm like 300lbs right now, which I know also doesn't help with my tiredness.
Anyway, I'm just curious what your guys' thoughts are about this. Thanks in advance!
