What happened to my Creatine?

Initially, I purchased blue Creatine Monohydrate. Recently, I noticed it clumped into brown, clay-like lumps instead of its usual powdery form. In the attached picture, you'll see most of it has turned brown, hardly resembling its original blue.
I'm concerned about its safety for consumption, its effectiveness now, and whether I should get a new bag. Any advice on its safety and potency would be greatly appreciated!
