Does ‘feeling your glutes’ during a workout mean they’re being worked?

Post Body

Sometimes I’ll do RDLS and I’ll feel them all in my glutes, but on my next leg day I won’t feel the ‘burn’ or I’ll feel more in my hamstrings, or even calves. But does that mean my glutes are not being worked? Or should I keep going regardless? I always stop when I realize I’m not feeling my glutes but I wonder if they’re being worked despite not feeling them
