What to do?
Post Body

I’ve been lifting (squats dead bench and some isolated machines on three day splits of push, pull, abs) on and off (consistent for 3-4 months on, 1-2 months off) for the last, gosh, seven or eight years? I started the B.B. program. Wanted to commit to movement patterns and tie format, but two weeks in and it’s apparent that it’s not enough. I’m barely sore, and while I’m seeing results I feel like the lifts aren’t hard enough. I think I’m going to jump into weeks 5-8, replacing any body weight stuff that I can immediately max out the rep range on with the weighted stuff from weeks 9-12. I’ll see how that goes for a week, two tops, and if it’s still too easy consider moving on to weeks 9-12 in a similar fashion. After that I may just jump into GG. I just don’t see myself as an advanced lifter, although maybe taking his litmus test for GG would be a good idea.

Has anyone similarly struggled with where to put themselves? What did you do? What didn’t work?
