I've done OMAD a few times the last few weeks and enjoy the freedom of not counting calories, and just enjoy my meal.
However, I've been seeing a nutritionist per my doctor's request to help with losing weight as I'm very heavy. When telling the nutritionist about OMAD, even though I only try to do it a few times a week, as I'm trying to work my way into a daily routine, she seemed concerned.
She was asking how I'm getting all my calories. Now if you use any TDEE calculator, I'm between 1800 and 2000 calories for the day.
I know that when I do OMAD I'm probably not getting even close to 1200, let alone up to 2000. Should I be concerned? Or should I just continue on with what I'm doing?
When I do OMAD, I don't feel overly hungry. Just as little in the morning, however when I have my coffee, just black no creamer, and drink water throughout the day, the hunger pangs seem to subside.
Appreciate any answers or thoughts on this matter.
Thank you!!
