We recently joined Red Hot Pie because we’re told it’s the place to be for Swingers (I personal prefer to be on Reddit but okay) and we got an invite to join this private event “Melray” On Friday the 13th.

We discussed it and had heard some good things so decided to give it a go.They sent us all the details of location and pricing a few days before.Entry was $80 which included some drinks on the night. They hosted in an apartment which had two bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and overlooked the city (Views were incredible).

Party started at 8.30pm and we arrived around 9pm and we were among the first. We were brought upstairs by the host and given a run down. The hosts were very welcoming, lovely to chat to, made us feel very much at ease.
Other people quickly arrived and we mingled, everyone was so lovely, we honestly enjoyed speaking to everyone and spoke to most people at the party at one point or another.
Drinks were served throughout the night.
1 couple kicked off and shortly after others followed suit.
At one point the hosts gave out raffle tickets and completed a giveaway of RHP merch, we did not win, much to our dismay.

We asked a couple to play with us and another couple who we were talking to asked to join, everyone agreed so we went into one bedroom and played together.
All couples seemed to have a great time and continued playing throughout the night.
Later in the night, the whole living room was full of people playing on every possible location, quite an enjoyable sight.
We left around 1.30am, having had a fantastic night.

Only let down of the night – one guy did not understand how to obtain consent and attempted to play with F26 from behind, without warning, asking, or even introducing himself. It was seriously shocking and we moved away quickly.

We did advise the hosts after the fact and they have banned this person from their events. It was hard to speak up about how uncomfortable we felt, but the hosts made us feel heard and acted on the feedback quickly.

The main difference between this party and the clubs was how intimate it felt, which became very evident when we realised a lot of the people attending knew each other. People wanted to get to know you more and be a bit more personal. This style suits us well, we enjoy having some level of emotional connection with people prior to playing.
