So my partner and I attended the Between Friends Newcomers night last night and I thought I would share my thoughts.

Firstly, we have pretty much zero experience in the lifestyle and this was our first visit to any club/venue/event.

As has been reported before, we got a wonderful welcome from Matt, who made us feel welcome and also safe in the venue as we got an unintended example of how protective he is of the club and the people inside from unwanted attention. A complimentary bubbles (not sure if this was just a newcomers night thing or not) didn't hurt either.

Upon entering, we pretty quickly found ourselves chatting to a few other friendly couples and enjoying the atmosphere of the bar area. We got a tour of the place, got back to chatting then ended up going upstairs to see what was going on.

I've got to say, the massage room was great to have some fun in, and I hope we get to try out the swing room next time we go, because we both want to go again.

Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable experience for a couple starting out in the lifestyle.
