Wife and I visiting Melbourne from interstate and intended on visiting BFWB due to their good reviews. However, have just heard it's a themed night of Cops & Robbers this Saturday.
Haven't had time to seek any fancy dress for the night and questions are: 1. Will we be permitted entry if not dressed in theme costume for the night? 2. If not required, are there many that still attend themed night in just smart attire? 3. Also is footware/ needed to be worn after dress down?
Any tips/ advice would be appreciated.
In our experience you shouldn't have any problems with needing to dress up, there's always a mix of those setting into the theme and those who see it as another night out and dress smart as they normally would for a nice wine bar No footwear is needed upstairs, I've seen people rocking socks, thongs, barefoot hell even crocs If you're unsure at all there are plenty of reviews on here or you can always call Matt the host directly and ask any questions
