UPDATE: 29/6

I wanted to thank everyone who gave me such great advice, I am really awkward and get super nervous in new scenarios but it was a wonderful experience in general to just see what everyone gets up. In the end we didn't swap or anything like that we just were with each other the whole night but I did FAR MORE than I thought I would. In the end I found a way to be comfortable, and allow myself and my husband to experience I new world without me getting too overwhelmed. We did meet and talk to a lovely friendship couple who made there way over to us, when we were all down stairs at the beginning, I won't drop names but if you're on this page swin boy & pink hair you know who you are. Thank you for taking the initiative to come talk to us, and for giving me the courage to go upstairs the first time, I do wish I'd had the courage to hang more but you really did make the steps to get up there that much easier, and I am so greatful for that. I hope we run into you both again, as you were just an energy I really enjoyed 🥰

We will definitely be back (considering going to the under 35's event a few weekends from now) and now that I've been I now know where my comfort ability lies, and even though I know it may take me more than one or two visits to get to a swapping scenario, I do look forward to what may come eventually for me and my husband.

Thank you again to everyone who gave wonderful advice.

Xx

Hi there folks . Looking for first timer advice.

My husband (31m) & I (29f) are finally taking the plunge so to speak & going to a specific themed newbies night this coming Friday at between friends in balaclava.

It's something my husband and I have talked about doing for ages, I read it pretty much weekly in one of the many smutty smut books I read, and I finally personally found this place that I was comfortable enough to buy tickets to go to. We've even booked a hotel around the corner to make a whole night of it (mainly also cause we live with his parents atm whilst saving for a home so gives us the night away).

I'm excited but also really freaking absolutely nervous, I have hella big anxiety about social things especially something like this but I am also the type of person who as soon as I find someone I get along with I become super extroverted to that person. I'm also of the LGBTQIA gang but have never gotten the chance to be properly with a woman so I'm wondering if this is the chance to get that experience too.

what advice can you share for my first visit? What should I expect to see, hear, feel, etc? What would you suggest wearing (especially if you got body confidence issues) would I be okay to wear a longer maxi nightie upstairs that's like no see through? what should my husband wear (who also has confidence issue due to his belly) if I don't want to do anything with anyone else just watch how do you get the confidence to say no? Will people be ok with you saying no? Just really any advice would be great. I'm just the type of person who over thinks every stupid detail and I want to Jam Pack myself with as much info or advice and knowledge as I can before the night.

Thank you so much in advance to anyone who does share 🩷
