Attended Between Friends Wine Bar last night, this was our first ever event and we weren’t sure what to expect really. But the venue was lovely, host was so welcoming and made us feel at ease right away. The purpose of our visit was mostly just to be watched by others, which we succeeded in. We drew a reasonably large crowd which made us feel good, and was nice for our first event!

Before we went upstairs we were initially approached by a male wanting us to join him and his partner on some couches in the bar area for a chat, we politely declined as we were super nervous and were at that point just wanting to have a few drinks to ease our nerves. We popped upstairs shortly after and noticed they came up and watched for a while. We were hoping to catch them later in the night to apologise for declining their offer and explain that we were just really new, but they appeared to have left quite early. So if those people are in this group, sorry if we seemed rude. 😅
