How to access Trunk electronics?

I have a 2006 Acura TSX sedan and my electronic trunk switch failed on me today.
Dealer is quoting over $200 for the part labor.
It seems like I could just go in there and remove the old switch and plug in the new, but I have no idea how to access the inside of the trunk hatch.
Seems like there are these plastic rivets around the lining. I don't want to start pulling things though and rip something.
