I'm looking to replace my tires for the winter, but the tire size on the door sticker is slightly off from the tires that are currently on there - is this a major issue? Should i default to getting the same tire size I currently have or the one on the door?

Post Body
For reference, the tires currently on there are a 235/65R17 and the door sticker says 225/65R17. I'm not exactly sure what the numbers mean but was told to not deviate from them. I believe the rims are original to the vehicle, so I don't know if any 'damage' is being done with the wrong sized tires.
