Car Sitting In Garage With No Coolant

Post Body

I'm in the process of flushing my coolant on a 98 4Runner. I purchased a new radiator and wanted to drain the green coolant it currently has and replace with the proper Toyota red coolant.

I'm letting it fully drain in order to remove the last bit of distilled water that I flushed through. Did 5 flushes to get the clarity I was trying to achieve.

The last drain is taking forever as I'm trying to let it drip out as much of the distilled water as possible.

The vehicle holds about 9.5 liters and so far I've removed 8 liters on the last flush. It's still dripping so I'm going to let it keep going. I've read that it can hold upwards of about a liter or so after a full drain. So I know I'm close to the end of what I'm going to get out at this point.

Now, it's later at night and I'm not going to be able to have time to install the new radiator and coolant until probably Monday at this point.

My question is, will it be ok sitting in my garage without coolant until then? Our temps are still in the upper 60's at night and hitting about 75-80 during the day. So I know freezing isnt any sort of issue. Just wondering if there is anything else I should be aware of with leaving the block empty of coolant for multiple days? Or if it'll be just fine.

Thanks!
