Can the sanctions in this package from Costco be turned to be narrow/long?

I'm trying to economize. Costco's deal seems pretty good. This is what (I think) we want: Lovesac 6 Seats/8 Sides Standard Arm Sactional Storage Bundle, Item  1863240.
We just need five seats, configured together so their widths are shorter, and the depth is longer (not sure how to phrase this). What I do not know is if the backs are still useable, or do we need a narrow width back?
