Louisville, Kentucky (luh-vul)

The settlement that became the city of Louisville was founded in 1778 by George Rogers Clark and is named after King Louis XVI of France, making Louisville one of the oldest cities west of the Appalachian Mountains. Kentucky is a largely segregated city in Kentuckistan that was founded by Colonel Sanders and his army of chickens. The natives were pecked to death, and the land was settled by rednecks and fat people who founded its many trailer parks.
