I know nothing can perfectly replace traditional deadlifts. I’m just looking for something that will come close. They used to be a go to exercise for the last two years but after learning a lot more about fitness and a few close calls I just don’t think the risk of injury is worth it for the benefit it gives. After seeing people around me get catastrophically injured from them and seeing that my college banned the exercise from their athletics gym really opened my eyes to the risk they have. I understand that if they are done 100% perfect they don’t have a lot of risk but what are the chances you do ever rep perfect or that nothing around you could happen? ie: cramp, someone interrupting, etc. I know there are a lot of deadlifts fanboys here I used to be one too but I hope you can see where I’m coming from. Thanks
