I’m trying to streamline my routine for time purposes. Let’s say Monday and Thursday I work chest. If I had 4 different chest exercises, let’s say 2 upper and 2 lower chest, is it best to: 1. Work the 2 upper on Monday and 2 lower on Thursday 2. Work 1 upper and 1 lower on Monday and 1 upper and 1 lower on Thursday 3. Work everything both days. 4. Really doesn’t make a bit of difference.
Would the same be applicable for all groups of muscles? Right now I am doing mon&thurs, tues&fri, wed,&sat. (Not sure if that’s called a 3 day split or 6 day split) I feel rushed and think I move too quickly on things. I get up at 330am, do remote work for a couple hours, then get 3 kids off to school, workout, shower and then off to the office. Nights are for family stuff so that’s out of the question. Let me know your thoughts.
